After visiting some friends and family in Utah we made the drive to Bear Lake to a family reunion with Brian's immediate family members. There's a bunch of us so it was a wild time - and lots of fun! Of course I took so many pictures it was hard to choose a few - but I did, and here they are (although some people may not consider this to be "a few")

Sophie and Aunt Cathrine - I think they look alike

Brian and our niece Madalyn (his sister Becca's little girl)

Grandma reading stories to the kids - Owen (on the far right) fell sound asleep before she was done!

Grandpa Phillips and the newest addition to join the family - Elliot

Two of my lovely sisters- in- law - Emily and Emily!

Ava and Miles in the shirts they decorated - Ava is in the process of saying "CHEESE"

Our trio of trouble...

ALL the Phillips grandkids. They are all so unique and adorable and fun!

Dallin Paul aka: Mr. Cool

Sophie learned to Hula Hoop while we were there and got pretty good!

My cute sister-in-law JoAnna and me.
One of the Bear Lake must -have's is the raspberry shakes at LaBeau's:

Emily, Owen and Ava

Michael

Tucker

Ava

Sophie

Nora

Me and Madalyn

Sophie loves babies - and Elliot was no exception!
We played a lot on the beautiful beach at Bear Lake:

The girls having a great time looking for treasures in the sand

Miles loves to do this pose and yell "RAAAAA!!!" I was obviously copying him. He thought it was pretty funny!

The kids digging for treasure with Uncle Toph

Miles was loving this

Nora kept getting in the water and then running out to roll in the sand.. then back in the water... and back in the sand, etc.,etc.,etc.

Miles loving the water

Becca and Madalyn

Some of the crazier family members had a "coolest entry into the water" contest.

Grandma and Miles

Sophie and grandma working on their shirts

Emily Ann and cute Elliot

Sophie and grandma giggling on the deck - if I remember right they were watching Uncle Patrick hula hooping! And here are some of the more entertaining hula-hoopers:

Matt

Brian

Mike - who had quite the hip swing!

Chad

A cute picture of Sophie and Grandma

Grandma playing with the kids - I think she's attempting to do the hokey-pokey with them.

Cute Truman

Sophie - who looks so old in this picture - too bad her hair is in her eyes though!

Pretty Ava

Of course the kids all loved the sandbox!
We had such a great time with everyone. A few other highlights were playing games all together (have you ever played the Violent Chair game?? It is awesome) hanging out and relaxing with each other and eating delicious food together. We love you all. Thanks for a great reunion!

I think you did very well in choosing the pictures..I have yet to get to that point in my posting, but am kind of dreading the picking part :)
Miss you guys.
That looks like it was a blast. I don't mind all the pictures, they are fun and you take really good ones. Any chance you want to buy a new camera and give me yours? Doesn't hurt to ask, right?
Hope Michigan is treating you well and we hope to see you the next time you are in town, but we know you are a hot commodity. Take Care!
What great pictures. You really have a way of capturing just the right shot.
