We made it through

Well, we survived the week of testing and are so glad that part of Brian's program is over (thanks to our families for all the love and prayers - we definitely felt them!) He won't find out for about a month how he did but he says he thinks it went okay. So, we'll see... We were so excited to have him all to ourselves on Saturday! We rode bikes with the kids, played outside and just enjoyed hanging out all together. It was great!
Saturday night Brian came home and surprised me with a fancy footspa thing:
Don't worry - I got to use it first! I'm a lucky girl.
I think they could get used to this...

I am sure proud of Brian and your whole family. Congratulations Brian. How many more grueling tests do you have before you are Dr Phillips?
Love you all Grandpa John

Your kids are growing so fast! I can't believe you have known Brian for that long, I remember when you pointed him out to me when he was running and his long curls. I had forgotten that until I wrote that. He did have longer hair (that was in style) for a bit didn't he?
