18 Months!

I can hardly believe this little guy came into our lives 18 months ago! He is full of mischief, spunk and love! We feel so blessed to have him as part of our family. He went to nursery for the first time today at church. He had absolutely NO problems being left there to play, but when we picked him up the nursery leaders told us he was a bit of a BULLY. Really? Our Miles? As if we didn't know. But he's just so darn cute! AND he has two big sisters - the kid has got to take drastic measures to be noticed! He had a little trouble pushing the other (bigger) kids around. He has a classic case of little man's syndrome. He's small, so he has to prove himself and show those big kids he's just as tough as they are! And he is!
I'm hopeful it won't take long for him to adjust and be nice.

Here are a few (nicer) things about Miles right now:
He LOVES his dad - ever since we got home from our trip he has been very clingy to Brian
He loves cars - he has eased up watching the movie but still loves his Lightning McQueen's
He CAN talk - but doesn't much. He will say a word and then it's like he is storing it in his brain and thinks he only needs to say it once and then resorts back to his usual "uh"
He loves giving morning snuggles to the girls. And they love it even more!
He clears his dish from the table to the sink after we eat - usually spilling the leftovers all over the floor, but I'm not about to change a good habit!
He is a picky eater (still)
He likes having an audience - When we all gather around him and clap at what he is doing he gets the cutest look on his face.
He loves to be outside with the big kids! Because he thinks he is one.
He is still really fast! He keeps me on my toes.

But he looks so DANG CUTE! I don't know if I believe he is a bully and full of mischief. Look at that innocent face. Okay, I do believe he is full of mischief, it is that innocent face that gives it away. Camden was the same way in regards to talking, rarely said a word up until between 18-19 months and then suddenly he started talking. It was about a month after you guys moved to Michigan. The kids are growing so fast! 18 months! Thats crazy!

Thanks Lexie for the congrats. I am 17 weeks today and feeling the baby move quite a bit, especially at night. We are due in January. But at least this one will be early and without laboring before the dreaded c-section. #3 here I come! how are 3 kids for you? Crazy and fun?
