Yesterday we had a little talk with Sophie about Satan. Nothing too dramatic or detailed, but she has been talking about him non-stop! I listened at her door as she said her prayers last night and it went like this....... "please help me to not do the bad things that Satan wants me to do, but I don't want to do. Because I don't want to make him happy, I want to make You happy." It was so sweet and innocent it brought tears to my eyes. Then today everything she does is "Satan isn't happy I'm doing this..... " if she's being nice or, "Satan would want me to hit Nora, but I won't" or "Satan would be happy if I knocked this picture off the wall, but if I did it on accident it would be okay, we would just hang it back up" my favorite one was, "Remember when you ran over my leg with the golf cart (as if she'd let me forget!)? Satan was glad about that!" Of course I reminded her it was an accident and if I had done it on purpose then Satan would have been glad! She's also been bombarding me with questions about Satan, "Do you think he likes the color purple? I don't think so." and "Does Satan eat? Does he have a body? Where does he live? Is he dead?" etc, etc, etc. I think I know what our family night lesson will be on tonight!

Seriously, Sophie is such a big sweetheart! I could almost hear her asking your these questions, what a doll!
Lol. I love the way kids think. What a cutie!
Hi you don't kow me..I was sort of blog jumping and saw your name on the Plamers...I grew up in Michigan and have been un Utah for 15 years. But Frankenmuth is one of my absolute places to come back to visit!! Thank you for the jaunt down memory lane.....
You sure have to be careful what you talk about to this smart girl! She is just the best! It is never too early to warn them about Satan! Love ya all! Can't wait to see NEXT month! Momma
Sophie is the stinkin best! What a sweet prayer!Sounds like someone has been listening extra close in church!! You know, I have a few questions I would like to ask you about Satan myself...Do you think a sandwich bag wreath would melt where Satan lives? If mom threw yours away I bet Satan would be VERY happy about that! And do you think that Satan would be happy if I made fun of your sandwich bag wreath? Just some thoughts.
Hannah and I were wondering if you were prepared for what Sophie is going to ask at the hospital after the baby is born? We can hear it now "mom how did the baby get out of your belly?" then "how did the baby get in your belly?" then "I want to see were the baby came out of." Just be ready because we weren't when Maddie asked!!!
P.S. the first song on your blog drives me INSANE.
Sophie cracks me up. The golf cart one is by far my favorite! What fun pictures from the past few days. Glad to see everyone is doing well. I can't believe you are going to have a baby in about a month! Gosh we miss you guys! Hang in there.

What a sweet and smart little girl! She's a real thinker. You must be teaching her the right way. :)
I can't believe that girl! She cracks me up. Her prayer sounded so sweet!
