So it's really too bad one of them did not find my phone yesterday! Walking to pick Sophie up from school yesterday I lost my phone between our house and a nearby stoplight - only like two blocks of sidewalk away - I thought I was going to be late picking Sophie up so I figured I'd have the kids help me look for it on the way back, I was gone only like 15 minutes. But the phone was gone. We live in a pretty blocked off neighborhood but there is an apartment complex at the end of our road that sends some pretty shady characters walking by our house every day. I may be wrong but I am pretty sure it was one of them that picked up my phone. So we kept calling my phone from Brian's and eventually someone texted back from my phone saying, "What's up?" So we texted them and said, "Hey, we lost this phone today could you tell us where you are so we can come pick it up?" But we got no answer. Then we texted and offered 20 bucks for its return and they said they'd bring it by and we wouldn't have to pay them. But no one brought it back. Brian checked my minutes and texts on-line and found two numbers the person called from my phone and he called them and they didn't answer. So we called and had the phone cancelled and now I'm phone-less. Boo. Mostly because I just got this phone a few months ago and will have to pay for a new one. At least it wasn't my wallet!

Dang! Phone-less is just the worst! I HATE not being able to talk to my kids. It helps me make it through the day. I did call it this morning because I forgot. Maybe they will still give in to doing the right thing???? Sorry sis! I might have an old one you can have. Love you much. Have a good day and hold onto your wallet!
Did I tell you about the teenage thugs I saw right around that time yesterday? Ugh. We should start a neighborhood watch or something. Sorry about your phone.
BUMMER! I really do empathize. Too bad it wasn't a nice person who picked it up! I love your vacation pictures! FUN! How neat to be so close.
That really stinks that there are dishonest people in this world. My father-in-law got his wallet stolen, but didn't realize it until he got his liscense in the mail. So, who ever took his wallet nicely got rid of the liscense, but still used his credit cards. At least someone honest found his liscense to mail it back. Good luck with getting a new phone. That stinks that you have to buy a new one when you just got one.
Oh no, that sucks!! Although it does explain why you didn't answer me back when I texted you yesterday...
Hey Lexi, I have an old orange phone that I just stopped using recently. It is still in pretty good condition and it was one of my favorites phones. If you want it you can have it. You still have verizon right? If you want it or more info on it call or email me. Sorry your have dirty rotten thugs in your neighborhood.
How annoying to not have a phone!
I liked your pics of your vacation (especially the one of Brian at the end:). That sounds like fun!
Dang it, that is the worst. We don't realize how much we use our phones until they are gone. So sorry!
Aaaaaargh! How annoying! I'm glad you were able to cancel it before lots of minutes and texts were racked up, but sad you're now phone-less. I hope you get a phone you love.
