Today Nora and I were downstairs playing mama (her) and baby (me). Lucky for me she is still at the age where I can be cleaning and using my baby voice at the same time and she is still happy with that (usually). As we were playing I suddenly noticed the outfit she was wearing and I realized it was pretty funny. I hadn't really noticed that it was funny because it was just so......... normal. For her. I decided to take some pictures of her and now that I am looking at them I am laughing at my new level of normalcy.
Silly, silly Nora. How we love you.

Wow, that is quite the outfit! Too funny!
Love it! So cute! I want to be at your house. Your normalcy is Great!
Too cute! She must really love posing for the camera, too!
So what's not normal? I mean I have seen you and Brian in worse. Brian, remember the black and white Polka Dot shirt? And then Lexie and her 60's hippie colors (which look great). Really, how can you criticize how your kids dress?
Grandpa Phillips
Wonder where she got that from?
Hey, at least she's wearing clothes! Cute Nora!
Lexie, Your little girl is just adorable!!! I have had moments like that were I look up and go "how did I get here and why doesn't it bother me!"

Hey Lexie! Thanks for leaving a comment on our blog. I think it's hilarious that you put your maiden name in parenthesis. Like I wouldn't remember you!
Those pictures are so cute. It makes me really miss being a kid. My youngest was all about the boots tonight too.
Brian,
I saw your blog on the P-town blog. My wife is a blogger (I'm using her sign-in to browse). Where are you getting your doctorate at? I'm down at UGA, hoping to finish mine in a couple of years. I guess we just couldn't hack it on the outside (of school), huh?
