Mile's baptism

Miles was baptized on February 20th, 2016 by his dad. His good friend Duke Condie was also baptized the same day. It was a wonderful day. We are so proud of our sweet boy Miles for making the choice to follow Christ. We were so lucky that Grandma Phillips and Naunie & Grandpa Dalley were able to come out for this special day!

February Fun

February was a busy month. This sweet boy turned 8!

We celebrated Mardi Gras with the Cornia and Spencer-Weathers, complete with a King Cake.

These two eating lunch while watching a movie (not a good habit I know, I must have been desperate...)
Sullivan loves looking at books on the big boys' beds.
I took all the kids in to the dentist and all were cavity free once again - yay!
Sullivan wakes up much earlier than we'd like, usually between 5 and 5:30. Sometimes he falls back asleep with Brian or I, but sometimes he stays up and then usually takes an early nap.
 Nora on Valentine's Day
 My snuggle buddy.
 Valentine's Day loot.
 Sully loves popcorn!
Someone gave us these huge cookies and now I don't remember who, and a cute kissable baby.
Brian spent a lot of time working on our basement bathroom. So.Much.Work.
Sullivan is a major daddy's boy, he would love to sit with Brian all day every day.

Pinewood Derby time! Miles did his car 100% by himself and he won! He was so proud.
Our friend Reid textured our bathroom walls for us and did a great job.

A crowded bed on a Sunday afternoon. Love these boys!
Sophie had basketball all through the month of February and we loved going to watch her games!

Birthday Boy

Our sweet Miles turned seven in February. Sadly, I lost all the pictures of his birthday party when I didn't back them up from my phone! :( We took him and three buddies to the Legacy Academy for some crazy fun and then back to our house for pizza and ice cream. He requested oreo brownies for his birthday dessert and navajo tacos for dinner. That night Uncle Matt was here on business so he got to join us! Miles woke up that morning super excited for his big day. The night before he told us "If you want to hide in the morning and jump out and say surprise - you can." We love this boy.

Brian is currently reading the Harry Potter series, which is really fun since I've been wanting Brian to read it for a few years. They are both loving it.
Miles and Wesley are pretty good buddies. They love playing games, legos, super heroes, cars and the Wii together. But what they do most is wrestle and play fight constantly. I rarely even tell them to stop anymore because it's futile. Boys gotta wrestle.
Miles is a really good big brother to both Wesley and Sullivan.

Soccer boy

Miles played soccer this fall and looooved it! It was so fun to watch him play and he was pretty darn good for never playing before. It was great to spend our beautiful Saturday mornings watching our little guy play!

He would get super excited whenever anyone on his team made a goal.

Birthday Boy.

Miles turned 6 this week! On Saturday we took him and 2 of his friends to a fun place called "Legacy Academy" that has all kinds of toys and mats and swings, etc. They had a great time but soon after we got home he said he didn't feel good and fell asleep on the couch. When he woke up he threw up and had a 102 fever. So he was sick on his actual birthday (Sunday). Sunday morning after he had some Motrin he felt good enough to open his present - a remote control car! He was excited! And to be honest, staying home from church to play with Wesley, watch movies and play the Wii wasn't too shabby (we usually don't do Wii/movies on Sundays). So even though he was sick I think he had a pretty good day!
He doesn't care for cake so he wanted brownies and Blue Moon ice cream.
He got a new Wii game and some Ninjago legos. Wesley was just as excited about these!
This boy makes us happy. People act surprised when I say that overall he has been our easiest kid, but it is true! We had a rough spot when he was 2ish and he was pushing everyone all the time, but overall he's been fairly easy. He is generally easygoing, happy, a good listener, kind and fun to have around.  Of course he can be a pest to his sisters and doesn't like to do his chores, but we're working on those! :) We feel pretty blessed to have this boy in our family. He loves hotwheel cars, superheroes, ninjago, legos, going to school, playing with friends and playing the Wii. Happy Birthday sweet Miles.
