So lucky!

The day after Brian's parents and brother left, this cute family came to stay with us:
This is Brian's youngest sister JoAnna, her husband Chad and their cute baby girl Cora. We had so much fun having them here and although we didn't do all that much between Brian being busy, both of the babies napping twice a day and Chad being sick - we still had a great time. It was so fun to get to know cute Cora Jo! Here is some of what we did:

We went to lake Michigan and the beach, Brian found a little turtle swimming along and the girls had a great time playing with it:
We played outside
Went for a walk on the river trail in Lansing where we chased ducks and played at the playground (where Nora fell and passed out - scare!):

Celebrated JoAnna's birthday by going to the Olive Garden and with a chocolate sheet cake:
And my birthday (I hit the big 3-0 this year!!) by going to Max & Erma's and cheesecake:
Went to one of our favorite parks:

Had a wild night when we got three inches of rain in 2 hours and our basement flooded- including the room our guests were staying! Our great landlord and many of his family members came over and were there until 3am helping us and our neighbors get everything cleaned up! What a mess. But luckily we were able to get it mostly back together by the next night for them to have their room back.
Cora loved giving Wesley hugs. So sweet.
She also liked giving him a ride in this stroller. :)
They taught us how to play Skip-Bo and now we need our own game so we can play!
I got to take some pictures of Cora. She is so darn cute!!
I just love her lips and chubby cheeks and blue eyes. She's got the whole package :)
This picture makes me smile because it was the morning after the flood and because all of Chad's clothes got soaked in the flood he had to wear his swimming shorts and a t-shirt of Brian's until his clothes got all washed. And he looks happy but I'm pretty sure he was faking because he felt pretty horrible. Saying good-bye!
Thanks for coming to see us Bischoff family! We LOVED having you. Please come again when we are in Wisconsin!

Oh the flood. I now believe in Friday the 13th, it truly is a jinxed day! Happy Birthday Lexie, I still think you need to celebrate it for a least another two weeks, because you are that special!

I love the picture of Nora holding the pulled up flower with her cute little purse and Miles hugging the tree. It looks like so much fun!
