We were pretty lucky in October and got to have Grandpa and Grandma Phillips and Aunt Cathrine out for a visit! We had pretty nice weather and went to a pumpkin patch:
Miles really loved Aunt Cathrine, and it had absolutely nothing to do with her fun technology :)
We got to run the Color Me Rad race in Madison. It was raining and cold but we had fun!
Here we are before the race:
Look at the ground on this picture... it was a muddy, colorful mess!
Our adorable (and handsome) cheering section:
My friend Jesi from church ran with us, too!
We had fun and the girls want to do it next year. What surprised me was that it wasn't really a "race" at all. They don't even time you. There were people in costumes and people pulling kids in wagons. So although it wasn't really a workout, it was a fun experience.
Miles and Wesley are thrilled to be in this group picture:
Grandpa stayed a few days extra and built us a raised garden bed while he was here. We are super excited to use it in the Spring! Thanks grandpa!
Taking grandma to the airport:

We also went to Ella's Deli and up to Brian's school. I didn't have my camera (dead battery) so when I figure out how to steal some from Cathrine's facebook page I will upload them here. :)
