We had a great time over Winter Break! It was so fun to hang out and play together for over a week. It was also nice not making lunches or worrying about homework and having to leave the house every day to pick the girls up from school. Here is some of what we did:

Played with Play-doh,

made "snow" landscapes with shaving cream and random objects,

cried over spilled milk (at least Wesley did),

made salt dough creations (one of the girls most favorite things to do!),

cleaned messy rooms (this is before the cleaning obviously),

crafted and crafted and crafted and crafted,

made bread,

smothered Wesley with love and attention,

played school and watched movies together!
It was so great having the girls home. The kids all got along so well and had fun playing together. But the girls were starting to go crazy with pent up energy so it was nice to start back in the routine of school. I'm a lucky mama!

Wow! What a fun break. I love the snow scaping! I think that would be a fun yw/ym activity, maybe . . .might be messy! Your kids are always crafting something. I love it! So happy for you all! Love you and miss you so much.
Love your sentiments about school. Miss the kids, but love them having a routine!
Looks like it was a wonderful Christmas, and I love the picture of Sophie and Nora and the doll.
Great pictures.
:)
Love you all.
Looks like so much fun! I have two questions- What is salt dough ? And do you really have a giant whiteboard in your house? That is awesome.
We just got back from our break and there are no Phillips, Oversons, Seedalls or Johnsons here. Could life be more boring? This post made me happy and helped me feel less lonely for my friends.
And hello- your kitchen chairs are so dang cute! Are they new or did you paint your old ones? So darling!
I love reading the blog. I especially loved the picture of Nora and Sophie when Nora was opening her present. Wow, two different girls. Seems like one is more reason based and one is more emotion based. You can guess which.
Miss and lave you guys,
Gramps
