Finally!

This girl finally lost a tooth! She has been waiting for a long time and was the only one in her first grade class who hadn't lost a tooth. It has been getting very wiggly and on Monday night she came out of bed to look in the mirror at her tooth and I asked her if she wanted me to pull it with the pliers (I keep some needle-nose pliers handy). She said yes and handed them to me and I told her it would probably hurt but she said to do it anyway. It didn't take much and that tooth popped right out! And was she ever excited!

Nora came out to see the tooth and she got really sad and started crying about how she wanted her tooth back. I felt so bad because I thought she meant she wanted her tooth back in her mouth - but she just meant she wanted her tooth back in the little bag we had kept it in (until she lost it...)
We had a spontaneous neighborhood car wash the other day. We pulled our cars up on the lawn, gave the kids some rags and soap and water and let them go to town. They did a pretty good job and had lots of fun!

That Sophie girl is sure growing up. Now with a tooth FINALY gone she even looks MORE grown up! So sad for little Nora. She gets me every time. I love Miles heavy looking diaper on the car wash shot! Looks like a great idea and lots of fun. Can't wait to see you soon!

YAY for Sophie!!!! I can only imagine how much she wanted that out. Tayson was SOOOO Excited when his first one came out and that was a few months ago, but before that he was wishing trying to wiggle his teeth to get one loose, then he started swinging his backpack around with his teeth after school while waiting to be picked up. Well, that apparently did the trick and boy was he thrilled! Camden now tries to wiggle his teeth to get them loose. Sorry buddy, you've got a while still, unless he wants to knock one out or break one, which he did crack one slightly, but not bad.
