Time with Nora

I am getting emotional as my time with Nora comes to an end. She has been my little shadow the past two years as Sophie's been in school. She and I are a lot alike because we are both happy to be together but doing our own thing. We've spent lots of time together while she is crafting or playing barbies and I am nearby working on something or cleaning. We talk back and forth and she comes and shows me all the things she's created at the craft table. She really loves to play by herself and to sing and pretend in her own little world. It's so cute. Sophie is out of school on Friday - which I am excited for - but it means that when school starts up again it will be both my girls heading off to school for the entire day. I keep telling myself I'll be ready for it and it will be nice because school starts three days before the baby is due. But right now I am totally dreading sending my Nora away for the whole day. I am going to miss her! It will be such a change to go back to being home with a two year old and a baby. My days will turn in to time with Miles and the cycle continues as he becomes the big brother at home with a baby brother/sister. That's how it works and it will be good, I just hate having them grow up so quickly!

Here she is when she gets to choose what she wears, which is mostly every day. She is really into dressing up these days and is always wearing the funniest things.

And here she is when I get to choose! Yep, she's a cutie either way.

I totally know what you are going through. I was thinking the same thing the other day about Shade. I will miss him, but I keep telling myself he is ready and it will be good for him to be away from me. This is the way it is suppose to be right?

So fun to have the kids grow up, but yet so not. Thankfully Truman will only be gone from 8 to 11. So I'll still get my Trubee fix, but I am still dreading it!

Nora looks so much like you in this picture. It's funny how I see so much Phillips in each of your kids and then the Johnson creeps in.

Wow they just keep getting older and we (Naunie and I) are not there to witness every minute. It's not fair but we sure enjoy getting these pictures and the cute stories.
