We left for home early on the 3rd of July. We didn't take the scenic route this time around, we were just trying to make good time! Luckily Sullivan did much better on the way home!
On the afternoon on the 4th of July John called and told us Sara had
passed away. It was hard news. She had only received the cancer diagnosis 8 short
weeks before. She left behind 5 kids under age 11 and a husband
finishing his phD in Chemistry. What a trial. We are thankful we have complete trust and faith in God and know there is a plan and that they will be together again.
It was so nice to see our families, but it was nice to be home again as well.
