December so far...

Other than having someone in the family sick for most of the month so far we've had a few fun things here and there...

We got out our new Thomas Christmas train set to go around the tree. I found this last year on clearance for $20.00 and couldn't resist. The kids have loved it, especially the boys.

On a side note, we've been doing our advent calendar and Wesley ate all the candy out of it and now keeps telling me to go and buy more candy to put in it. But I've learned my lesson. Now I put it in right before we open it :)
I love this picture because it's pretty much the daily routine, after our morning cartoons; the boys playing together and Scooter sleeping on the chair!
This is how Nora sleeps every night. She reads a book to all her animals and falls asleep among them all. I often put them all back in the toy closet during the day and she always gets them back out during bedtime. I was just like this as a child so it makes me smile.
The girls finished their fall dance class and had a recital. It was so much fun watching them perform on the stage. They both did great and had a fun time. Sophie was pretty nervous to be on the stage but I reassured her that once she started the dance she'd be okay. Here she is hip-hopping it up:

The only problem with these pictures is she looks too grown up. I was totally crying during both of their dances.... such a baby! Nora loved ballet and looks like the perfect little ballerina.

We went to a community event and had breakfast with Santa! The kids told him what they would like for Christmas and then we had pancakes and sausages and juice.

After breakfast they had all kinds of crafts for the kids to do. Fun!
