I'm so ready for spring! It is still too cold in the mornings and I am not happy about it. Luckily I have this cute little guy inside to make me happy:

What is it with babies and paper? They all seem to love ripping it apart and shredding it up and eating it. Wesley is no exception. I try to avoid having him eat it, though.

The girls had crazy hair day at school, this is right up Nora's alley but I was surprised Sophie wanted to participate! She's so cute about fixing her own hair in the morning these days, and getting it to look just right.

Sophie has been into playing baseball and basketball with Spencer lately. It's fun to watch them.

Miles loves pushing things around in this little wheel barrow. I wonder if we'll remember what things belong to us when it's time to move?

The kids have been in the backyard a lot - even though it's not as warm as I would like they don't seem to mind and still want to be barefoot and not wear their coats. These girls were decorating our bricks by dipping sidewalk chalk in water.

Wesley hasn't been feeling good and has had a fever and junk. I took him to the doctor and they said it's just a virus. At dinner a few nights ago Miles started crying and holding his right ear and when he kept crying about it I took him to the Instacare and he had an ear infection. It seems the changing of the seasons always brings yucky sicknesses with it. Boo. But we've had a pretty healthy winter so I won't complain too loudly.

Miles is really such a good brother. He brought Wesley his favorite Thomas & Lightning blanket to cheer him up. Now that is love.

Wesley has ended up in our bed most mornings lately since he's been sick and thanks to cheap diapers he's leaked on our sheets two mornings in a row (no more of
that brand). Would it disgust you to know it took me a few days before I washed them? Baby pee is pretty harmless, right? Sophie scolded me,
"You really shouldn't let him sleep in your bed you know." Funny girl. Be sure to notice his cute chubby leg. I know you just want to squeeze it - and I do!

Here he is before he got sick. He is the main subject of my pictures these days :)

How I love this bunch of kids. Spencer had recently shaved his head and Eliza and Miles were enjoying how it felt when they rubbed it. I love how Spencer was totally okay with it. Brian was introducing them to Inspector Gadget on the internet one day last week when little Benny was in the hospital with pneumonia. He's all better now thank goodness. These kids have become like siblings here and I can hardly think about how that will be ending soon, so I guess I won't yet.

Ruby also loves to play with paper. So funny. Hopefully it will be warm here when you come. We can't wait to hold Wesley!
Seems like you guys are always keeping busy with something or other! I can't believe Sophie does her own hair. She is looking so grown up in all of these pictures. I'm sure it will be so hard to move away from all your awesome neighbors!
I could spend all day looking at these pics! I think you had cray hair every day when you were in elementary! I am sure you showed the girls a few ideas! I think I am going to miss those neighbors of yours too! Wesis getting so grown up! Yes I did notice the chubby legs and I am gong to squeeze them as soon as I can! Miles was so sweet to share his blankie with Wes. What a sweet family! I miss you all so much and I can't hardly wait to the summer to see you ALL!
I love Sophie's opinions! I'm sure my day is coming with Robyn!
I love your stories!
