Bits of December

Sullivan doesn't like taking baths. He liked them okay as a little baby, then I think one time I scared him by putting him in deep water with the other boys and it freaked him out. We bought bath crayons and Brian even put on his swim trunks and got in with him a few times! For a while he would stay in a few minutes and I got this cheesy grin, but soon after he went back to hating baths.
 Winter Snowmen are so cute.
These boys were cracking me up playing the Wii together. All three of them were yelling and happy screaming constantly!
 Playing with friends!
Miles spent much of winter break reading!
Snow on a cookie sheet.... one of our favorite things.
The girls crammed themselves into this cabinet.
I made some doll dresses for my niece Ava's and friend Eliza's baptisms! The dresses matched the girls baptism dresses and it was a lot of fun to make them.

Here is the book find from Grandpa and Grandma Phillips

And just a Sunday morning getting these three yahoo's ready for church.

Sophie decided to cut some of her hair for basketball season so I had to get a picture of how long it was before we cut it.
Brian spent a painful amount of time dry walling our downstairs bathroom. I was very impressed with his determination to do it himself, though! He did a great job.

Me and Sully on a day he wasn't feeling well so we had lots of snuggles and movies.
Sullivan is a major daddy's boy! Luckily he loves me during the day still, but as soon as Brian walks in the door he is in Brian's arms until bedtime.
 Sully enjoys playing hide-and-seek.
Playing around with the Plasma cars.
 Look at that crazy hair!
New Years Eve was spent with the Cornia family! We had fun eating and playing Trivial Pursuit and then doing a 9 o'clock countdown with the kids.

After the Cornia's we came home and filled out a re-cap of the year worksheet and read through our memory jar. The kids were sooo excited to stay up until midnight!

Christmas!

This cute girl came up with a great outfit for Christmas!
We had the Roylance's over for Christmas cookie decorating.
 Christmas morning!

Nora wanted the 10 foot teddy bear from Costco, but we told her our house is way too small. Santa surprised her and brought a 5 foot one instead. She was pretty happy.

Miles really wanted the Ultimate Hotwheel car garage for Christmas, so we made it the boys gift from Brian and I. They were all pretty excited. A few days later Wesley told me he didn't really love playing with cars and I asked him why he'd been so excited when they opened this gift. He said, "Because Miles was!" Cute boy. He did love the super hero and play-dough stuff he got!
We got a giant Monster sack for our new awesome family room and everyone loves it.
Brian made Nora a balance beam and she's enjoyed practicing on it. Miles loved his Lego's
Sophie got some headphones and a bluetooth speaker for her kindle. She was pretty excited and she's fooling no one with this sassy tweenager look, she's the sweetest kid around.
We had a lovely Christmas together. We started a new tradition with this adorable baby Jesus and the manger. It came with a book called, "Soft Enough for a King" and we loved doing kind deeds and filling up the manger with hay for baby Jesus. What a beautiful time of year!

Good times in November

Enjoying some of the last days of nice weather!

Jumping off the trampoline into the leaves was great entertainment.

Thanksgiving was spent with the Condie and Cornia families at the Condie home. Yummy food and fabulous friends!
Of course Nora came up with a Thanksgiving outfit.
Sully is a major daddy's boy these days!
 Lucky mama.
 Lucky dad.
The day after Thanksgiving we went and got our Christmas tree!
