Summer Trip Part 5: Phillips Reunion

We spent a week with the Phillips clan and had so much fun. We were mostly working on Alex and Cathrine's wedding, which took place out at the river! We also managed to squeeze in a day at the park, the family variety show, camping at the river, a hike to the Wind caves and lots of family fun!
Nora building a dam at the park. I can't remember now who helped her with this, but she was the only one who kept at it the entire time.
Sweet Lucy and the American Girl doll I brought her!

Fun family dinners.
We played the duct tape candy rolling game, always a crowd pleaser!

Ice cream time!

Summer Trip Part 4: Preston!

We made it to Preston and to my mom and John's. It was fun to see them and their new house! We stayed there Saturday night and went to church with them, it was Father's day Sunday so that was nice to spend time there. My brother Aaron and his family were there and it was really fun to see them and their cute kids.

Summer Trip Part 3: more friends!

On our way to Preston from Yellowstone we stopped to see our friends, the Thomas family, in Grace, Idaho. K'Lyn was my first friend when I was little and we have been close our whole lives. It was so fun to stop and see them! There are 6 cute Thomas kids and they live in a beautiful spot! I wish we could see them more often. The kids all had a great time and we had dinner with them before driving on to Preston.

Summer Trip Part 2: Yellowstone

After spending some time at Mt. Rushmore we took off for Yellowstone! It was another long day of driving and we almost quit and stayed somewhere else because Sullivan was so sad, but he finally calmed down when I sat next to him and stroked his face and sang Primary songs to him. I think I sang for over an hour! But we made it to Yellowstone that night and camped right in the Park. It was so busy, but we had a great spot and it was much warmer this night. The next day we met the Seedall family! It was so fun to see them again! Later that day Emily Huff and her kids also met up with us. We drove around and saw some fun sights and then camped about 20 minutes outside of Yellowstone in Montana.

We had  to get a picture of Brian holding Miles and Eliza because he spent a lot of time holding them both when they were babies.
I wish we could do this every month!
